What do we do? Migrants in Culture is a migrant-led design agency and CIC. We resource organisers and artists to build more creative and powerful social movements, able to grow our collective capacity to imagine and live without borders. We do this via our:
Design Agency, offering visual design services and training to social movements so that organisers can tell complex stories in accessible and compelling visual formats.
Saturday School, a creative learning lab for organisers to embody, imagine and design for border abolition through practices including embodied leadership and sci-fi writing.
Roots & Routes, a residency programme exploring migrant and diasporic wisdom as a creative strategy for collective organising and movement building.
In politically locked times, we are committed to the leadership of our social movements, spanning the work of immediate resistance to long-term visioning and world-building.
Where does money go? Our work is funded by trusts and foundations and supplemented by income from our Design Agency strand, which we operate on a solidarity sliding scale. Our public programme is free or pay-what-you-can for all to access. Your donations will help fill essential gaps in our budget including pro-bono design work for grassroots campaigns.
Thank you for your support!
